These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Leaflo, including the Leaflo mobile app, website, and related services.

By using Leaflo, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Leaflo

Leaflo is a journaling app that helps users create and manage private notes and related content.

We may update, improve, suspend, or change parts of Leaflo over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Leaflo.

If you are under 18, you should use Leaflo only if you are allowed to do so under applicable law and with any permission that may be required from a parent or guardian.

For clarity: an app-store content age rating (for example, Apple App Store 4+) is a content-classification label and does not change this minimum-age requirement in these Terms.

3. Your account

You may be able to use Leaflo either:

• with a registered account, or
• in guest mode where available.

"No account required" means you can start in guest mode without email/password registration. When online, guest or registered sessions may use cloud session infrastructure and limited technical metadata processing to support sync, reliability, and deletion consistency.

If you create an account, you agree to:

• provide accurate information where required,
• keep your login credentials secure,
• not share your account in a way that creates security or abuse risks,
• notify us if you believe your account has been used without permission.

You are responsible for activity that happens through your account or device to the extent allowed by law.

4. Acceptable use

You may use Leaflo only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial use unless we clearly agree otherwise in writing.

You must not:

• use Leaflo for unlawful purposes,
• interfere with or disrupt the service,
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts,
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where the law clearly allows it,
• scrape, overload, probe, or test the service in a harmful way,
• use Leaflo to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights,
• use Leaflo to distribute malware, harmful code, spam, or abusive material,
• use Leaflo in a way that could damage Leaflo, other users, or third parties.

Even though Leaflo is a private journaling tool, these rules still apply.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create in Leaflo, such as your notes.

However, you give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, store, transmit, and use that content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service for you.

We do not claim ownership of your notes.

6. Privacy

Your use of Leaflo is also subject to the Leaflo Privacy Policy, available at leaflo.app/privacy.

The Privacy Policy describes telemetry processing, metadata sync behavior, retention periods, and deletion handling in more detail.

7. App functionality and availability

We try to make Leaflo available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability.

Features may change over time. Some features may be experimental, limited, delayed, or unavailable in certain versions, countries, devices, or situations.

Guest mode, metadata sync behavior, export, account features, and deletion features may have technical limits or dependencies. Reminder features depend on notification permissions and system notification settings on your device.

8. Account deletion

If you have a Leaflo account, you may request deletion of your account and associated data through the methods made available in the app or on our website.

For security reasons, we may require re-authentication or identity verification before processing deletion.

Once account deletion is completed, recovery may not be possible.

9. Export

Where export is available, you are responsible for saving and managing exported copies of your content.

We are not responsible for third-party storage locations, apps, or tools you choose to use after export.

10. In-App Purchases

Leaflo may offer Apple App Store in-app purchases for paid access features.

Current paid-access model:

• 14-day Trial may be offered as a free trial,
• Leaflo Supporter may be offered as a one-time lifetime purchase,
• there is no auto-renewing subscription in this paid-access flow.

Important points:

• the exact localized price shown before confirmation is controlled by Apple / the App Store through StoreKit,
• prices may differ by country, currency, taxes, and App Store pricing rules,
• Apple handles billing, taxes, refunds, and payment methods for App Store purchases,
• Leaflo does not receive your full card or bank payment details,
• Restore Purchases is available to sync eligible App Store purchase history tied to the same Apple Account.

If a free trial is offered, it does not automatically become a recurring subscription after the trial period ends.

11. Intellectual property

Leaflo, including the app, design, text, graphics, branding, software, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Leaflo or our intellectual property to you.

12. Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas, we may use them without restriction or compensation to the extent allowed by law.

We do not guarantee any specific support response time unless required by law.

14. No medical, therapy, or legal advice

Leaflo is a journaling tool. It is not a medical service, therapy service, crisis service, legal service, or emergency service.

Any reflections, prompts, organization tools, or wellness-related features are provided for general personal use only and are not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, treatment, crisis support, or legal advice.

If you need urgent medical, mental health, or emergency assistance, you should contact an appropriate qualified professional or emergency service.

15. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Leaflo is provided "as is" and "as available".

We do not guarantee that:

• Leaflo will always be available,
• Leaflo will be error-free,
• Leaflo will meet every need or expectation,
• data loss, delay, or interruption will never happen.

You use Leaflo at your own risk.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of Leaflo.

If we are found liable for any claim related to Leaflo, our total liability will be limited to the greater of:

• the amount you paid us for Leaflo in the 12 months before the claim, or
• EUR 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some parts of this section may not apply to you.

17. Suspension or termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Leaflo if:

• you violate these Terms,
• we reasonably believe it is necessary for security, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons,
• we are required to do so by law,
• continuing to provide access would create risk or harm.

You may stop using Leaflo at any time.

18. Changes to the service or Terms

We may update Leaflo and these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may post updated Terms and update the effective date.

Your continued use of Leaflo after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Serbia, without regard to conflict of laws rules.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Leaflo will be subject to the competent courts of Serbia, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

20. App stores

If you download or use Leaflo through a third-party app store, such as Apple App Store or Google Play, that store may have its own terms that also apply to you.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable store rules or consumer law.
